Our Team

Brooke Andrews, MA, CCC-SLP, COM, CLC

Our mission is to empower families to be their child’s best teachers by supporting play, emotional connection, and early language development. The Speech Dynamic was founded in 2016 when I noticed the need for boutique, play-based speech therapy tailored to meet the needs of little ones and their families.  I have been working with children 0-5 for the past twelve years and have worked in Early Childhood Intervention as well as Durham Public Schools Preschool Program before starting my Private Practice.  In 2020, I had my own little one and found myself on the other side of things as we started Physical and Occupational therapy.  That experience gave me fresh eyes in how to support families at home and new perspective of what it’s like to be a parent in therapy. I specialize in working with late-talking toddlers and hold certification in the Hanen Program, TalkTools, Talk Yoga, myofunctional therapy.

Katrina Koch, MS CCC-SLP

Hi, my name is Katrina! I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin. I then remained at UT to complete my Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology. I have always loved working with kids and was able to find my niche in helping children learn to further develop their speech, language, and feeding skills. My clinical experience in pediatrics includes assessment and treatment of expressive/receptive language disorders, speech production errors, fluency disorders, pragmatic disorders, feeding difficulties, and learning disabilities. I have experience working with children of all ages and diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Williams Syndrome. Outside of work, I love to read, spend time with my friends and family, and take long walks down the aisles of Target.
